Georgia born Singer/songwriter/Guitarist Cody Matlock grew up playing the blues in Atlanta staple clubs such as Blind Willie’s, NorthSide Tavern, Fat Matt’s Rib Shack, and Darwin’s. Cody began playing bars and clubs full time before he was old enough to drive thanks to his incredibly supportive parents, and the welcoming Atlanta Blues scene. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Sly and the Family Stone, Donny Hathaway, Johnny Guitar Watson, BB King, Sean Costello, and Stevie Wonder  Cody is blending the sounds of blues, R&B, funk, and jazz to create his own style of soul music, always searching.
