SKYLER SAUFLEY

As a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Skyler Saufley is not your typical blues player, and his journey to becoming one is uniquely his own. Specializing in jump, swing, and west coast style blues, coupled with his impeccable stage presence and knack for showmanship, Saufley’s talent becomes impossible to ignore, evoking the spirit of blues legends T-Bone Walker and Pee Wee Crayton.

His live shows are infused with a mix of electrifying blues and boogie-woogie standards that will bring the audience to their feet and leave them begging for more. Skyler performs extensively across the southeast and will be inducted into the Alabama Blues Hall of Fame on April 30, 2023.

JAYY HOPP

Jayy Hopp was born in Lagrange on March 10th, 1995. Gospel and R&B music was very influential in his formative years. The guitar drives and grooves always caught his ear.

As he aged, Jayy Hopp expanded his musical vocabulary and he then began listening to Jimi Hendrix which lead him to Albert Collins, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Guitar Slim, Fenton Robinson, and Ike Turner. His long-time friend Jontavious Willis enlightened him about the roots of blues and different playing styles. Jayy Hopp plays with a solid syncopation and his influences are clear, but he also brings his own personality into the mix.

Expect Jayy Hopp to be a name mentioned amongst the names of the new rising blues generation.

CANNONBALL RED

A Blues brother with soul running through his veins, Red is a passionate artist trailblazing through life on his own path to success. Originally From Douglasville, GA, Red’s true origin story lies in the Gospel music ringing through Calvary Baptist Church in rural Madison, GA. Adept and inherently talented from a young age, music was a cornerstone of his childhood. In his early teenage years, he discovered the world of Blues and was instantly infatuated.

Red draws his inspiration from the greatness of guitarists like Lightnin’ Hopkins and Luther “Georgia Boy” Johnson, as well as pianists like Otis Spann and Ray Charles. Combining their vintage sound with a modern flare and his smoky voice, Red and his stellar band known as the Head Hunters bring you soul, grit, and a little bit of fire to give a taste of what it feels like to be at the mercy of the Cannonball.
