  • Pure Life Studios 206 Clark Street LaGrange, GA, 30240 United States (map)

Initially a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, Foster made his recording debut as part of the Foster & Lloyd duo, recording three studio albums with nine singles on the country charts. Foster began his solo career in 1992 and his album Del Rio, TX 1959 produced four consecutive Top 40 hits.

Foster has had countless cuts by artists ranging anywhere from country (Keith Urban, The Dixie Chicks, Luke Bryan, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) to contemporary (Marc Broussard, Hootie & The Blowfish, Kenny Loggins, Los Lonely Boys). Although, highly recognized and accomplished in the music world, Foster is a true renaissance man. In the past five years he has written his first book, For You To See The Stars and he starred in the world premiere of "Troubadour,” at Atlanta’s Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre. He also appears in the upcoming feature film, Beauty Mark.

Waldrep co-founded the Alabama-based bluegrass/jam band Rollin' in the Hay in July 1993.  The band was based in Birmingham, Alabama, and formed as a side project.  Waldrep was a also a full time member of the Birmingham band Telluride.  Rollin' In The Hay soon became a full-time band touring the Jam Band circuit of festivals and college campuses across the country until May 2009. Rollin' in the Hay produced 7 CDs and performed over 300 dates per year for 16 years.

Today you may see Waldrep appearing with various artists (Kelli Johnson, Mike Ferris, John Cowan, John Berry.) His music history is steeped in tradition as well as pushing the envelope with artists on his own project - Smoke from the Kitchen - bringing in heavy hitters such as Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones), Paul T. Riddle (Marshall Tucker Band), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers), Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke), Coy Bowles (Zac Brown Band), Benji Shanks and Jazz Grass Mandolin player David "Dawg" Grisman.

Waldrep is also featured on the Zac Brown Band Pass The Jar CD/DVD, along with Kid Rock, and Little Big Town. During this time he met the husband and wife country duo Joey + Rory. He did a tour with them during the Zac Brown Tour, and in some cases, they all toured together.

Icing on the cake . . . Waldrep performed at the Grand Ole' Opry several times and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, which was the previous home of the Grand Ole' Opry.
